Resort Golf

The resort golf course caters to those golfers who are on a golf vacation. This course is predominantly found in the south and southwest, where year-round warm weather tempts the snowbound northern golfer to throw caution—and his kid's college fund—to the wind to play golf in February. Resort courses usually feature “package deals,” which the desperate snowbird and three of his buddies can book online with the click of a mouse. Renting a “golf course view” two-bedroom condo, the intrepid foursome follows an itinerary designed to cram as much golf into four days as they might experience in three years of regular play.
